Q. Where are your gourmet truffles and gourmet pretzel rods made?
A. Our commercial kitchen and retail store/coffee café are located in Seaford, DE. Our gourmet truffles are made from fresh ingredients, without the use of preservatives, and are handmade right in our kitchen.
Q. Do your products contain allergens?
A. Yes. Many of our products contain dairy and nut ingredients and are not allergen free. All of our products, even solid chocolate products and chocolate bark products may have come into contact with allergens, including nut and dairy.
Q. Where can I buy Sweet Serenity Chocolates products?
A. Many of our products can be purchased online at sweetserenitychocolates.com. Our main store is located in Seaford, Delaware and can be reached at 302-628-8883 for any custom orders, or any products that you do not see on our web store. We make all kinds of custom chocolate treats, so be sure to give us a call! Please note that chocolate covered strawberries are best when enjoyed within 24 hours of pick up. For this reason, we prefer pick up at our store or local delivery for optimum freshness. Any strawberry orders that need to be shipped must ship via overnight delivery. Additional shipping charges may occur.
Q. Can I have my order shipped to me or shipped to a gift recipient?
A. Yes. We ship via UPS anywhere in the continental United States. At this time, we do not offer international shipping. In warm weather conditions, there will be an additional charge for cold packaging, and in some cases, may require overnight shipping in order to maintain product freshness.
Q. What is the shelf life of your products?
A. Our products have various shelf lives depending on ingredients. Our gourmet truffles are made from fresh ingredients without preservatives. In refrigeration storage they will maintain their freshness up to three months. However, they do not require refrigeration, and we recommend consumption within 2 weeks for freshest flavor. Our gourmet pretzel rods have a much longer shelf life, up to six months, as long as they are kept in a cool, dry environment, and away from direct sunlight. Our gourmet apples should be consumed within 2 weeks.
Q. Do you offer wedding favors?
A. Yes, this is a specialty of Sweet Serenity Chocolates. Our gourmet truffles make an impressive and delicious presentation as wedding favors. Q. Can I make a custom box of chocolates?
A. Due to the large variety of products, we are unable to accommodate custom orders online. However, you can visit our store to place an order, call the store at 302-628-8883, or email your request to info@sweetserenitychocolates.com.
Q. Do you offer gift certificates?
A. Yes, you can purchase and redeem gift certificates at our main store location in Seaford, DE. At this time, gift certificates are not redeemable for online purchases.
Q. Do you make charitable contributions, and can I make a donation request?
A. Yes, Sweet Serenity Chocolates is proud to support our local schools and businesses with charitable donations. Please make your request in writing, preferably with 6-8 weeks lead time. Please remember that we have a limited budget for charitable donations, and we are more likely to support causes for education, hospitals, and local businesses.
